  Heres some diddys for the upcoming show taken last night on my fone. They are both unfinish native americans on Gords. Theyre pretty fun to paint, i caught myself feeling like a little kid last night playing with them in my studio.  This is a logo i did for a friends band last week, Im not to happy with it, but it serves as something for the time being when i have more time to do something better from them. Sorry I dont have uploads for this post. I finally got my camera to charge and just keep forgetting to take it everytime I go down to the studio. So as of the past 2 weeks, ive been down at the studio for 4-8hrs a night working. I was asked to show in the Broadway Gallery for the month of March. This will be my first solo show, and im looking to break into the "scene" with a strong start. Im really trying to over do it for this show, i have 10 new planels the smallest being 2'X 4', 15 native gords, 8 older pieces and some small sketches i will be showing. My hands are in a constant state of agony lately, its 18 degrees at night in the studio and my space heater only heats about a 2 foot radius. because ive been working between large scale and small scale in the cold my hands, mainly my joints ache like i have aruritus (sp*). I will have some pics soon. I put in some new lighting and now can actually see how bad these new paintings are, so hopefully i will get some pics you for to see to. |

Heres a Update on the Devin piece, i will soon get some good photos of the paintings ive been working on. Ive been using my fone because of it convience.  Ive been working on what i guess you could call a new series. Basically this new style of realism with a bit of a twist. I would like to have enough pieces to have a show for the month of Feb. I have alot of work to do and do to time constraints and lack of material as in Panels made, i dont know if i will be able to make my own deadline. |

So as a new member to the corporate world, this is my first 4 day weekend. Its pretty cool getting paid to eat and sit around all day. Thank god, thanksgiving is over. Its been one headache i could have done without. We went to Korines the night before Thanksgiving because Korine always makes pies for her family on thanksgiving. After she got off work we went to "foodmaxx" and got the things she needed to make 3 pumkin pies. I entertained myself with the shopping cart imagining myself as a dift racer around corner somewhere in Japan. Korine was short tempered that night and i spent the rest of the evening chaining smoking and drinking on her back porch. The next morning (thanksgiving) i woke up feeling sick, maybe a little hung over from mixing rum with imported beer. Korine and I went to her house to what i would call a fairly smooth thanksgiving. Thanksgiving night we went to Lisa's for thanksgiving and sat around playing games. It was awesome, lisa's family being hmong has alot of simularities to my family being native. Last night... So i guess the flu has finally caught up to me this year. Im feeling a little better right now than i did last night. I wasnt feeling good, i might have been running a fever im not sure, but korine and i was suppost to hang out. She instead decided she rather go clubbing. Not one my favorite things to do. So i stayed home and slept. I wake up at around 3am and she still hasnt come home. The bars in california are only open till 2am. So i give her a call..... Nothing then i remember She called me and told me she was turing her fone off because the battery was almost dead. So call up her friends shes with and still get nothing. about 15mins later i get a call back for a very intoxicated korine. "hey we are heading to party across town..." at this point im gonna end because korine seems to get fairly stupid after drinking. So now its 10am and im stilling the backyard drinking tea and its 40 something degrees. I made it to the studio yesterday, ill post pics soon. |

These are some shitty quality pics I took off my phone last night at the studio. The first time ive every really used my camera on my phone. I plan on updated with better quality fotos from now on.  Started working on the shirt and pants of this painting. I'm having a harder time, than I expected achieving the realism I wanted its almost impossible with the amount of black being used. Ive been studying meat for the past week I envision little meat above hanging from strings.  |

 Frank Millers "300" is almost finished being made into a live action. From the looks of the screenshots they are following simular to SinCity in trying to keep the feel of Franks style. Its pretty cool, I enjoyed the 300story alot more than SinCity and Dark knight.  This is the new blog, from now on i'd like to post things fresh to me. I will be showing my process more and hopefully be able to update more often given this new cubical job and the amount of freetime I have. |
